But beyond that, Mitsubishi wants you to have a great viewing experience with their active shutter Mitsubishi 3D glasses while having a safe experience. When using Mitsubishi 3D glasses, one should read manuals because they are crucially important. Mitsubishi has advised against children using 3D glasses. Here are some guidelines:
- Do not modify, or try to disassemble the Mitsubishi 3D glasses, it may cause the equipment to malfunction that may result to slight discomfort.
- As a rule, children below 5-6 years should not use Mitsubishi 3D glasses or any other brand for that matter. It is difficult for younger children to judge their reactions to discomfort, or fatigue, and they might react badly without you knowing.
- When this product is accidentally used by a child, the parent should ensure that the child’s eyes are not becoming tired.
- When used by a child, always communicate with the child; ask how he/she is feeling. If the child can’t see clearly, and sees double images when viewing 3D content, take the 3D glasses off him/her.
- A child should not move lot while using 3D glasses. The surface appears dark, which may result in other accidents.
- Make sure that a child eyes are focused in a horizontal position so that he will not suffer from a myopia or short sightedness.
The following are safety reminder for other users:
- If you feel tired or uncomfortable while using 3D glasses, immediately take them off. Prolonging to use the 3D Glasses may cause serious problems eyesight fatigue in the long run.
- Please make to take the necessary rest after using 3D glasses.
- When playing computer games with3D contents, taking a 30-60mins break is a must-do. Again, prolonged use of the device causes eyesight fatigue.
- When using Mitsubishi 3D glasses, be careful not to strike other people by mistake. As the image goes 3D, you may accidentally hit somebody when you feel that the distance from the screen is far or near, and this could result in injury.
- Do not attempt to use the 3D glasses if it is slightly broken. Doing so may result, again, in eyesight fatigue, and some minor injuries, when you get carried away by the action you feel like you’re in the middle of. Prolonging, and continuing the use of broken 3D glasses can be dangerous.
- Mitsubishi 3D glasses are intended for viewing 3D images only.
If it can be avoided, do not allow your child to use Mitsubishi 3D glasses. And do follow these guidelines. True, there are some things that we cannot deny our children, a good movie experience being one. But it is never too smart or too responsible to keep them away from potential danger. Again, safety first.
